William Crosby, Jr.

In-House Counsel and Arbitrator at The Interpublic Group of Companies, Inc.

I bring the skills I’ve acquired from heading global litigation at a Fortune 500 company to my work as an arbitrator, where I have now presided over nearly 230 AAA, ICDR and ICC matters.

Experience

I have practiced law for nearly 30 years, the last 18 of which I have spent in-house at Interpublic Group, where I have headed global litigation, managed the Latin American legal team and served as chief of staff for the legal department. I have served as an arbitrator since 2009. I have served in complex cases involving several months of hearings with amounts in controversy exceeding $15 million. While I have served as arbitrator in a variety of commercial disputes, the areas that come up most frequently for me include: • Franchise law and agreements • Hotel and restaurant management • Fashion and design • Trademark infringement • Asset purchase agreements • Sales of professional practices (accounting, dental and medical) • Usury, fraud and breach of fiduciary obligations • Adequacy of software deliverables
