Meet the 2024 CCA Associates

Rebecca Huang, FCIArb, (Weintraub Huang LLP) is a Canadian Arbitrator uniquely qualified to handle complex commercial disputes involving Chinese parties, venues and/or documents. Admitted to practice law in Ontario, Canada in 2006, Ms. Huang is the Managing Partner of Weintraub Huang LLP, a boutique Toronto law firm dedicated to the arbitration and litigation of complex commercial disputes. Raised and educated in China, and since 1994 in Canada, Ms. Huang is fluently bilingual (English/Mandarin) and exceptionally qualified as an arbitrator for international commercial disputes, especially those involving the Asia Pacific region. A highly experienced trial and appellate lawyer, Ms. Huang appears regularly before the Superior Court of Justice and the Court of Appeal for Ontario on behalf of business and commercial clients.


Tamara Lange (JAMS) is an arbitrator and mediator at JAMS and previously served as ADR Director for the U.S. District Court for the Northern District of California. Counsel say she is “calm, smart, effective, and respectful, and appropriately exercise[s] control.” In her practice as an arbitrator, Ms. Lange focuses on thorough preparation, procedural fairness, accuracy, and efficiency. She recognizes the importance to the parties of timely, well-reasoned decisions that reflect a comprehensive understanding of the relevant law and of the evidence presented. As an advocate, Ms. Lange handled commercial, patent, copyright, insurance coverage, environmental, entertainment and class-action cases at a global law firm in San Francisco and a litigation boutique in Los Angeles. She led and collaborated on cutting-edge constitutional, civil rights, employment, disability, detention conditions and education-related litigation for the national ACLU LGBTQ & HIV Project and the National Center for Youth Law. As a lead deputy in the Office of the County Counsel for Santa Clara County and as a solo practitioner, she worked on health care litigation, policy, and regulatory compliance and collaborated on matters involving employment, business, local government, consumer protection and constitutional law. Ms. Lange graduated with honors from Cornell University and Berkeley Law, and clerked for judges in the U.S. District Court for the Central District of California and the Ninth Circuit Court of Appeals.


Marcus S. Quintanilla (Marcus Salvato Quintanilla, Global Dispute Resolution) serves as arbitrator, mediator, and counsel in domestic and international disputes. A Fellow of the Chartered Institute of Arbitrators, he works primarily on complex commercial matters and disputes in the construction, energy, and technology sectors. He handles cases in English and Spanish and is experienced in both Common Law and Civil Law. He maintains arbitration chambers in San Francisco, Houston, and Miami. Marcus is on the arbitrator rosters of the ICDR, the AAA’s Commercial and Construction divisions, and the Energy Disputes Arbitration Center in Ankara, Turkey, and the Korean Commercial Arbitration Board (KCAB International). He teaches international arbitration at UC Davis Law School and serves in a range of professional groups including the ABA’s Forum on Construction Law, California Arbitration, Inc. (CalArb), the Houston International Arbitration Club (HIAC), the Miami International Arbitration Society (MIAS), and the Club Español e Iberoamericano del Arbitraje (CEIA). Marcus graduated cum laude from Harvard Law School and was formerly a partner in the Global Disputes practice of Jones Day. Alongside his current work as a neutral, Marcus is Of Counsel at Umberg Zipser LLP, where he represents clients in arbitration and cross-border litigation matters.


Lisa W. Timmons, Esq. (Lisa W. Timmons, PLLC) has over twenty-five years of experience in alternative dispute resolution. She is the chair-elect of the ADR Section of the Michigan State Bar, and the Executive Director of the Mediation Tribunal Association. Timmons serves as an arbitrator, mediator, and case evaluator of employment, labor, commercial, and consumer cases with AAA, FMCS, FINRA, and several state and private arbitration and mediation panels. Timmons earned her Bachelor of Arts in Communication from Michigan State University, a Master of Arts in Dispute Resolution from Wayne State University, a Juris Doctor from Detroit Mercy Law, and is a Michigan licensed real estate broker.
